En Periodic system Javier abre una nueva época compositiva, en constante creación y sin abandonar un estilo basicamente electrónico.
Mirando hacia atrás y adelante, incorpora desde guitarras y diversos sintetizadores clásicos y actuales, hasta dispositivos móviles como fuente de sonidos.
Otra novedad es el trabajo de los textos en varios de los temas recopilando sus vivencias e inquietudes.
El proyecto está abierto a diversas colaboraciones a nivel musical, por otra parte la imagen gráfica está basada en el trabajo del artista plástico Lluis Graus (Gps Lois).
Los temas se estructuran en torno a la tabla periódica de los elementos químicos.
Se trata de volcar diferentes versiones según van avanzando sin un objetivo predeterminado, sin buscar un tipo de sonido o estilo concreto para cada canción,
en una búsqueda en la que lo aleatorio es un ingrediente importante.
Actualmente Javier Maculet colabora en dedobcn , formado por diferentes artistas que tratan de compartir y divulgar experiencias en torno a su pasión por la nueva música en Barcelona.
Behind the title "Time Stretching" there is a sound and visual composition of Concomitance audiovisual project produced by Javier Maculet (Barcelona), which reconstructs the time space sense with digitally processed sounds and visuals. This initial work is also published as standard CD / DVD release.
This eclectic album is full of influences of experimental electronic music: ambient, electro, electronica, IDM and Glitch. To produce his music Concomitance sequence loops, using noises from an old shortwave radio, engine sounds, different musical sounds and audio errors stretched with time stretching effect.

The second disc of Concomitance is “Sharpen Cineon” which contains nine additional tracks where Javier Maculet continues the work from the previous album "Time Stretching" : Again there is enough variety of styles but always within the experimental electronics: ambient, electro, IDM, glitch, abstract beats and radio shortwave random noises. There are also manipulated organic sounds with the contribution of some voices and guitars.
